NABT Elects Attorney Mark Little in Madisonville to Board of Directors

I, Attorney Mark Little, was recently elected to the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees (NABT) Board of Directors. This is truly a prestigious honor that marks another high point as an extensively experienced Madisonville bankruptcy attorney. I would like to take this time to thank everyone who has made this honor possible for me, including both the NABT and my clients throughout the years. Without my clients depending on me for a variety of bankruptcy law issues all these years, I would not have been able to refine my abilities and eventually be considered for the NABT Board of Directors.

About the NABT

The NABT is the association for all Chapter 7 Trustees nationwide. Only bankruptcy trustees can belong to the NABT. The NABT — and, by extension, the Board of Directors — works with Congress to address issues and problems in bankruptcy. It plays a pivotal role in how bankruptcy filings are regulated, approved, and managed from coast-to-coast. In fact, the NABT was involved in the overhaul of the bankruptcy code in 2005 and the most recent changes in the forms.

The Board of Directors is responsible for the continuing operation of the NABT, which includes publishing a quarterly magazine, filing briefs before the US Supreme Court, lobbying Congress for changes in the bankruptcy code, yearly meetings and seminars, and other worthwhile endeavors. Election to the Board is highly competitive and I am proud of being elected to the board. I look forward to showing the Board the same unwavering dedication to excellence that I have shown all of my bankruptcy clients.
